Hello Classmates! It's May and I'm sure you all have lots going on in your lives! It's graduation time and I know there are many of you with graduating sons or daughters. Whether it be from high school or college....I'd like to congratulate all of you and your children on their achievments. I'm working on a page where you could upload a picture of your senior...let's just hope it works!
The town of Odessa is booming! We have no housing, no water and tons of people! We have seen quite a few changes lately....the shopping center on the corner of the loop and 191 (end of 42nd to some of you) has finally gotten started. The only thing left of the houses there is the stone fireplace. We now have a Best Buy, Academy and we are getting a Marshalls, Ulta and a Kirklands. We have new restaurants in town too, although they can't find people to work. The traffic is horrific though....I know you big city people think we don't even know what traffic is but Odessa wasn't designed with a heavy traffic flow in mind either. How we all used to love 42nd street, now people try to avoid it if at all possible....too much traffic and way too many wrecks. The Noel Wagner Center was opened and we've welcomed some great acts and events. It's a beautiful building and a nice place for our choirs and orchestras to perform.
Summer is almost upon us and we've already had some 100+ days. I hear people say "oh it's going to be a hot summer"....it's ALWAYS a hot summer here. I think we just take it harder now. I hope all of you have safe travels if you have summer vacations planned. Enjoy your time off and make some happy memories.
I hope to set up a get together sometime soon for the whole class. Nothing formal just a something for us all to be able to spend some time chatting. Hope to see you all there!

We will have up-to-date 2020 Reunion information, lots of memories (did you notice the picture of Permian? the circle drive is now gone!) and an easy way to keep up with classmates. This is our permanent 1980 Class website so come back often to find out what plans have been made, who we've located and what everyone has been up to! I will continue to look for pictures of the classmates that did not have a senior photo.

You will from time to time receive an email from this site but we will try and keep it to a minimum. We wanted a site that would be a private place for our classmates to reconnect and find out reunion information . We also have a message board for communication. Once you've registered, you and your classmates can contact each other directly using this site.
All classmates are considered missing until they have created an account on this site. Your name will automatically be removed from the missing list after you have registered. If you know how to contact one of our missing classmates, please encourage them to sign up here. Also, if you don't see someone's name on the list please let us know.
